– SET A TIMER – This can be for 10 minutes or 2 hours, you choose! Set a timer and work as quickly as you can.
– DECLUTTER DAILY – Making decluttering just part of your day is probably the easiest way to declutter your home. Clutter is a Daily Task with the Clean Mama Routine, making it just part of daily life makes it so much easier and helps you avoid being overwhelmed by clutter.
– MORE NOW = LESS LATER – If you struggle with motivation, remember that the more you deal with now, it’ll be easier later because you’ll have less stuff to manage.
– USE CLUTTER CATEGORIES – Using categories (Keep, Toss, Donate, Relocate) helps you move quickly and will make putting things away a little easier. ssess the area and determine if there’s anything you need to keep this space from cluttering up again. Put your Relocate items in their new spot and take care of your Toss and Donate items.
– QUICK SORT – Do a Quick Sort and move as quickly as you can, putting each item in one of these 4 clutter categories (Keep, Toss, Donate, Relocate).
